Atlantic Beach is located in Carteret County, North Carolina. It is situated on the Eastern end of Bogue Banks near the historic site of Fort Macon state Park and is the oldest of the five beach communities scattered along the 30 mile stretch of Bogue Banks known as the Crystal Coast. What started as a vision for a Carteret County local in the late 1800s has since grown into a thriving tourist destination.
Atlantic Beach offers many activies for vacationers. Whether its taking advantage one of the many public beach access points, visiting Fort Macon for an afternoon of history, or enjoying one of the many local shops and restaurants that are unique to this area, there is always something exciting going on in Atlantic Beach.
